Drawn from a refill hogshead and bottled in August 2018 at 50% ABV, this is a nicely “classic” indie Glen Garioch: mature, character-led, and not buried under heavy cask seasoning, with a limited outturn of 334 bottles.

Tasting Notes:
Nose: Honeyed malt, baked apple and pear, with vanilla cream, light waxiness and a gentle herbal edge.
Palate: Rounded and oily — toffee, cereal sweetness and orchard fruit, followed by peppery oak spice and a faint nuttiness.
Finish: Medium-long, warming and slightly drying, with lingering malt, soft vanilla and oak spice.
