The Macallan Harmony Collection No. 5 is a remarkable single malt that embodies the essence of JING’s Phoenix Honey Orchid tea, a renowned variety renowned for its rich, dessert wine-like aromas. This special edition celebrates the artistry of both tea and whisky, with a common focus on superior quality, sustainable sourcing, and reverence for the environment. As a nod to its inspiration from tea, the presentation box is even constructed using recycled tea leaves.

This whisky was predominantly matured in sherry-seasoned American oak casks, which impart sweetness, vanilla and gentle spice, while sherry-seasoned European oak casks contribute richness, structure, and depth. The inclusion of ex-Bourbon American oak casks also adds an extra layer of complexity. This careful cask selection process ensures a perfect blend between tea-inspired notes and The Macallan’s own sherried character. Bottled at 43.9% ABV, this expression offers a fine balance of elegance, richness, and vibrancy.
